Ok first and foremost, thanks Jod for the loan of the reset tool. Il be mailing that back to you tomorrow recorded. Didnt quite work like documented, (no blinking led) but did work and reset my service light. Thanks again Ok so im made some interesting discoveries. Firstly. Simply. My abs doesnt work (if its meant to have it). There is no warning light, so i assume they have taken the bulb out. Where is it meant to be? on the left or right bank? Ive included the lights before startup. I locked it up on purpose to see what happens and it just skids with lots of smoke and burning tyre smell. and the other side . Is it an mot failiure if it doesnt work even if bulb is removed? Also if it needs to be fixed, what needs to be changed. Im sorry if this has been covered, got a migrane after some dental work and it hurts to really write this. And lastly, ive noticed that my dual climate control does some odd things. Firstly the drivers side dial seems to do as requested, if fan speed and direction on auto, changing the temp causes the fan to come on, go off, and the air cools (with ac i suppose) and heats as expected. If i do the same with the passenger side dial, it makes no difference to fan speed or temp of the air coming out of pass side vents. Always blows warm-hot. Any idea's what i need to change? I appreciate that im doing a lot of "asking" on this forum, but i promise at a meet i will "reemburse" the helpers with the favourite beverages ;) Hope everyone had a good day Justin ps it was nice to be able to fill up with some "super" and go for a little speed test. The ABS light is on the RH bankof lights. I notice you 2 missing Top RH is ABS light One in bottom row missing is for TRACS (if fitted)

Yeah i dont have traction control as far as i know. Well i dont have a switch to turn it off and on with. Is my car meant to have abs aswell then? If so they've removed bulb grrrr

Hmm, il go through vadis and see what components are involved in the abs system tomorrow. BTW is it illegal for me 2 say i have vadis? Like copyright or w/e?

VADIS = Volvo Aftersales Diagnostic Information System IIRC. It was the electronic workshop manual for Volvo cars until it was replaced with VIDA.
