2.0L diesel engine service

Hi, New to this so excuse the basic question. Just brought a 54 reg S40 2.0D Am i correct in assuming its a Ford engine? If so can i take it to a Ford garage to get it seviced? Would this be just as good as a service from a Volvo garage if its a Ford engine. As surley this would be alot cheeper than a Volvo service. Sorry if this is a stupid question. sorry to de-rail the thread but does anyone know whats involved with a 70k service on a euro 3 s40 2.0d? I thought it was due at 72k but the service indicator appeared this morning! I have heard that it may involve a timing belt. Im just glad it doesnt have the particulate filter!!!

The basics , ie oil and oil filter + the additional items Fuel filter and Air filter .... Cambelt is 10 years or 140000/150000 miles.. which ever comes first remember the service indicator is controled by mileage , time and engine hours . which ever limit is reached first will flag the service message ...
