No matter what you think of his politics or his music, you have to admire how Pete Seeger always put himself on the line for what he believed in. He was a frequent presence at events and rallies in the Hudson Valley, right up until he passed away. I saw him perform at a political event just two months ago. The highlight was when a 9 year old girl asked if she could come up and sing "Union Maid". Pete was delighted to accompany her.

Sad day for sure. Pete Seeger was a huge presence here in the Hudson Valley. He will be missed. R.I.P. Mr. Seeger and thanks for the great music.
