hi - is there anyway to take a block of audio in PTFree and just resample it (changing the length & the pitch obviously) without any other processing? i want to resample some loops without all the ugly artifacts from the time compression/expansion plugin. is there a combination of settings in the time compression/expansion plugin that effectively only does the resampling part? it would be especially nice if i could specify the resampling in terms of number of samples as opposed to rate, but either would be welcome. thanx

Heard good results from a plug-in called Serato Pitch'n'Time. You can specify the exact lenght in samples with this.

Yes I tried Wave Mechanics Speed and also had good results, but I really don't want to spend several hundred dollars JUST to do resampling - I can actually do it easily in any number of free/shareware programmes like Sound Studio, or I can dump the stuff into my sampler and then do it there - but it seems like this is such a basic simple task that there must be a way to do directly in PT.
