move item horizontally

hi, how do I move an item horizontally without the ones in the right on the same track? I only want to move this selected item alone. Thanks, Bastian

Make sure that Ripple Editing is disabled:

Sounds like you've got Ripple turned on. Turn it off. The button looks like square blocks with a finger pointing at them. Press it once or twice until it goes dark.
