creating a community music calendar - need suggestions

looks like google is the best possible thing and just add people we trust...

I'd suggest last.fm for that, but not sure how well it works after recent "improvements", took them months just to make events half-work. I think there's also a facebook app (bandsintown) for those FB'ing.

We use the google one for our public room scheduling, works pretty good! You can say who gets what rights to it which makes it really handy
